چکیده

Abstract Alumina is often used for electrical insulation. However, different material systems promise to increase the insulation due their characteristics. Because of process properties including high cooling rates, thermally sprayed coatings generally differ from sintered material, which also effect properties. Within this study, are analyzed via impedance spectroscopy evaluate capacitive and behavior. Besides comparing frequency-dependent resistance, equivalent circuit diagrams were calculate relative permittivity coatings. X-ray diffractograms reveal phase stability during thermal spraying. diffraction was additionally conducted classify respective effects. In particular, investigated mullite-based exhibit slightly increased values compared conventionally alumina-based coating systems.

Evaluation of Organic Coatings with Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy

This seemingly basic equation actually hides some sophisticated assumptions and concepts. First, it applies only to the time varying, alternating, or ac, components of the current and voltage. Secondly, it is not sufficient to just tell how big the voltage and current signals are, we must also say how they are related in time, since they are both timevarying, ac quantities. Finally, the sizeand...

Equivalent Electrical Circuit Modeling of Ceramic-Based Microbial Fuel Cells Using the Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) Analysis

The effect of the thickness of ceramic membrane on the productivity of microbial fuel cells (MFCs) was investigated with respect to the electricity generation and domestic wastewater treatment efficiencies. The thickest ceramic membrane (9 mm) gained the highest coulombic efficiency (27.58±4.2 %), voltage (681.15±33.1 mV), and current and power densities (447.11±21.37 mA/m2, 63.82±10.42 mW/m2) ...

Microwave Drilling of Ceramic Thermal-Barrier Coatings

The microwave drill is a novel process for creating shaped holes in nonconductive materials. Its inherent material selectivity makes the microwave drill ideally suited for the controlled removal of ceramic coatings from underlying metallic substrates. In this paper, it is shown that the microwave drill process can drill through ceramic thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) to uncover an array of simu...

Corrosion Study of Electroless Ni-P-W Coatings Using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy

The present study investigates the significance of different coating process parameters on the corrosion behaviour of electrolessly deposited Ni-P-W coatings on mild steel substrate. The process parameters considered are concentration of nickel source, concentration of reducing agent, concentration of tungsten source and annealing temperature. The corrosion characteristic is evaluated by electr...
